We are contracting a reliable flatbed driver as an independent contractor for local delivery of building materials. Equipment consists of a 24' flatbed truck with a rear-mounted Moffett forklift. This is a single-driver route with job-site deliveries.
Position Details
• Schedule: Monday–Saturday (6 days per week)
• Start Time: STRICT 6:00 AM
• Pay: $1,200 per week (flat rate for 6 days)
• Equipment: 24’ flatbed straight truck with Moffett (provided)
Responsibilities
• Deliver building materials to job sites
• Secure loads using straps and proper load-securement methods
• Operate rear-mounted Moffett forklift to unload materials
• Perform job-site deliveries safely and professionally
• Load and unload product as required
• Use personal smartphone to complete all route updates, including:
• Enroute
• Arrived
• Delivery completion
• Photos and POD (proof of delivery)
• Complete all point-of-delivery requirements accurately and on time
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
Contractor Requirements
• Valid Class B CDL
• Moffett experience preferred (or willing to be trained, if applicable)
• Ability to throw straps and properly secure loads
• Comfortable working on construction sites
• Personal smartphone with data plan required
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
• Reliable attendance
Independent Contractor Terms (IMPORTANT)
• This position is 1099 – Independent Contractor ONLY
• No W-2, no hourly pay, no benefits
• Contractor is responsible for their own taxes
• Contractor is paid a flat weekly rate regardless of daily route length
Additional Information
• Company provides truck, fuel, permits, and delivery supplies
• Routes vary — some days shorter, some longer
• Routes do not exceed 10 hours per day
