Summary:
We are seeking an efficient and dependable truck driver who possesses a great
deal of aptitude to ensure on time deliveries and accurate record keeping of loads.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Hauling and transferring loads (empties, full bins, packing material,
supplies, etc.) to various destinations. Primarily on site.
• Ability to operate both flatbed and straddle trailers.
• Ensure loads are properly secured to prevent damage or injury.
• Executes safe and defensive driving techniques for the protection of the
payload and others.
• Expected to communicate and coordinate with dispatch or supervisor on
daily assignments.
• Ability to write up transfer tickets for the loading and unloading of bins,
materials, or other supplies for both accounting and accuracy.
• Maintain logs and records as required.
• Undergoes daily truck inspections utilizing Provision.
• Cleans and perform routine maintenance on truck and trailer.
• Ability to operate forklifts from time to time for times of need or no
transport work.
• Additional duties as assigned (this could constitute work outside the cab
yet related to the overall role)

Qualifications
• Clean driving record
• Must pass background check
• Skilled at driving and parking semi trucks
• Alert, focused and organized
• CDL a plus
Education and/or Experience
• Proven experience in proficiently and safely operating a semi truck.
Mathematical Skills
• Competent in the basics of adding, subtracting, and recording numbers.
Physical Demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Strapping and unstrapping loads.
• Possess great physical stamina and focus during long driving shifts
