My best friend and I are looking for a peaceful long-term place to either park our RV or rent a small private rural living space within roughly 40 minutes of Omak/Tonasket.
We’re quiet homebody-type people who mostly spend our time gardening, cooking, reading, watching movies, caring for our dogs, and working on projects/outdoor spaces. We’re hoping to find a calm, respectful, low-drama environment where everyone can comfortably coexist long term.
We are ideally looking for either:
• RV hookup spot with water/sewer and 30 or 50 amp power
OR
• small private rural housing setup such as:
- tiny home
- converted shed cabin
- loft apartment
- basement apartment
- guest house
- dry cabin
- small homestead rental
- caretaker-style living arrangement
Things that would be especially wonderful:
• some privacy/personal outdoor space
• rural/agricultural setting
• room for gardening/plants
• possibility of helping around the property/work trade
• stable long-term setup
• covered fifth wheel parking or RV cover/carport
About us:
• clean, respectful, and pretty quiet
• stable income
• references available
• sober/non-smoking
• no parties
• one preteen child visits occasionally/weekends
• two supervised dogs who are never loose and are sweet girls
Our RV is a clean 28ft Canadian-built trailer with one slide. However, we are also VERY interested in tiny homes or small private rural living arrangements, and honestly this type of setup may be even more appealing to us long term if it’s the right fit.
Budget is ideally around $400–600 depending on utilities/setup/work trade possibilities.
