Tucker is a golden retriever poured into a 15.1 hand grade paint body, he comes when called with such enthusiasm you'd half expect his grain routine to just be kibble. Vet aged at 22 and this boy won't be slowing down any time soon, he's got pep in his step and as long as his tack fits right and you keep up on some routine bodywork he'll be game for anything.
He's got an extensive history under saddle including gaming, parades, lots of trail miles, leadline pony, lesson horse, a brief stint in dressage but found it wasn't the life for him and returned to his western ways. He'll pack around a husband, a cousin, your 10 yr old daughter's entire birthday party, he's the ultimate family champ. He has pushed cows around and while he will do it he takes a minute to warm up to them.
Because of his forward nature and the occasional desire to see if he can get away with not listening we think Tucker is best suited for an intermediate rider, he's great for beginners *With Supervision* and we want to make sure he goes to the very best place. He would be ideal for a 4h kiddo wanting a step up horse or a WAHSET teen. He's old enough to have the experience necessary and cheap enough to bring the wonderful world of horses to someone just waiting for the right one to pop up.
This is a very special guy and a family favorite, he just doesn't desire the English lifestyle his owners are seeking. A buyback clause will be requested for the sale contract, he'll always have a home available and we hope you love him as much as we do!
